CNH, a leading global manufacturer of agricultural and construction equipment with approximately 11,300 dealers in approximately 170 countries, had net sales of $15.6 billion in 2010. Of total net revenues, agricultural equipment sales represented 73 percent, construction equipment about 18 percent and financial services about 9 percent.
About 25 percent of our net sales of agricultural equipment and 17 percent of construction equipment were generated from sales in Europe. Globally, CNH has approximately 30,000 employees and it operates 40 manufacturing facilities and 29 research and development centers.
Manufacturing locations are found in Austria: St. Valentin (tractors); Belgium: Antwerp (components) and Zedelgem (combines, forage harvesters, large rectangular balers); Germany: Berlin (graders); Italy: Imola (tractor loader backhoes,), Jesi (tractors), Lecce (excavators, telehandlers, dozers, wheel loaders), Modena (components), and San Mauro (crawler excavators and wheeled excavators); France: Coex (grape harvesters), Croix (cabs), and Tracy-Le-Mont (hydraulic cylinders); the United Kingdom: Basildon (tractors, components); and in Poland: Plock (combines, round balers, components.)
